Test F: The Flash-to-Pass Feature is Inoperative

PINPOINT TEST F: THE FLASH-TO-PASS FEATURE IS INOPERATIVE

F1-F3:

Normal Operation
Under normal operation, when the flash-to-pass feature is activated, the multifunction switch provides a ground signal to the smart junction box (SJB) through circuit 196 (DB/OG). The SJB then sends voltage to the headlamp high beams through circuit 1337 (VT/YE).

Possible Causes
- An open in circuit 196 (DB/OG)
- Multifunction switch
- Smart junction box (SJB)
