76A No Response Messages For AP Body Systems

There are three ways to get to this test:

1. The DRBII is currently connected to the CCD bus diagnostic connector and you have selected ENGINE from the main menu*.

2. A bus failure message flow chart brought you here.

3. The DRBII showed a "NO RESPONSE" message when an attempt was made to read information from a module*.

If item 1 is the reason you are here, you must either select an appropriate selection from the menu

(BODY, ABS, or TRANSMISSION) or, if you want to perform engine tests, connect the DRBII to the

SC connector in the engine compartment.

If item 2 is the reason you are here, you must verify that you can access all the modules that are on the vehicle. Perform the tests below as necessary.

If item 3 is the reason you are here, perform the tests below as necessary and in the order that they appear. The DRBI I will also show a "NO RESPONSE" message when you are trying to access a module that is not on the vehicle.

MODULE TEST

Engine Controller* 77A

* It is possible to monitor the Engine Controller for an "ACTIVE ON THE BUS" message only at the CCD bus diagnostics connector. Monitor the engine controller for a "NO RESPONSE" message by selecting SYSTEM TEST under any of the module test selection menus.
