Rear Seat Belt Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement) .
2. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement) .
3. Remove the upper rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .




4. Remove the rear seat belt lower anchor to body retaining bolt (1).




5. Remove the rear seat belt guide assembly to body retaining bolt (1).





Important: Lift and tilt the seat belt retractor (3) approximately 30 degrees to detach the seat belt retractor from the body slot (4).


6. Remove the rear seat belt retractor to body retaining bolt (2).
7. Remove the rear seat belt assembly (1) from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure






Important: Lower the seat belt retractor (3) at an angle of approximately 30 degrees to attach the seat belt retractor onto the body slot (4).


1. Install the rear seat belt assembly (1).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the rear seat belt retractor to body retaining bolt (2).

Tighten the rear seat belt retractor to body retaining bolt (2) to 43 N.m (31 lb ft).





3. Install the rear seat belt guide assembly (2).
4. Install the seat belt guide assembly to body retaining bolt (1).

Tighten the seat belt guide assembly to body retaining bolt (1) to 43 N.m (32 lb ft).





5. Install the rear seat belt lower anchor (2).
6. Install the rear seat belt lower anchor to body retaining bolt (1).

Tighten the rear seat belt lower anchor to body retaining bolt (1) to 43 N.m (31 lb ft).

7. Install the upper rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
8. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement) .
9. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement) .
