Sunroof Housing Rear Drain Hose Replacement (Upper)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the headliner in order to access the upper rear drain hose connections. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .




3. Disconnect the rear upper drain hose (1) from the sunroof spout (2).




4. Disconnect the rear upper drain hose (2) from the rear drain tube (1).
5. Remove the rear upper drain hose (2) from the rear of the sunroof module.



Installation Procedure


Important: The only suitable lubricant is clean water for the drain hose installation.






1. Connect the rear upper drain hose (2) to the rear drain tube (1).




2. Connect the rear upper drain hose (1) to the sunroof spout (2).
3. Inspect for proper drainage.
4. Install the headliner with the aid of an assistant. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
5. Install the rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
