Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Replacement

Removal Procedure
Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution (Safety Glasses Warning) .

1. Turn the ignition OFF.




2. Disconnect the purge line (1) from the purge valve solenoid.




3. Disconnect the purge valve solenoid electrical connector (1).




4. Disconnect the purge line (1) from the manifold side of the purge valve solenoid.
5. Remove the purge valve solenoid.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the purge valve solenoid.
2. Connect the purge line (1) from the manifold side of the purge valve solenoid.




3. Connect the purge valve solenoid electrical connector.




4. Connect the purge line (1) to the purge valve solenoid.
