Seat Belt Replacement - Center Rear

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement) .
2. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement) .
3. Remove the rear window shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .




4. Remove the rear seat centre seat belt anchor to body retaining nut (1).
5. Remove the rear seat centre seat belt anchor (2).




6. Detach the rear seat centre seat belt noise damper pad (1).
7. Remove the rear seat centre seat belt retractor to body retaining bolt (2).
8. Remove the rear seat centre seat belt assembly (3) from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure






Important: Make sure that the retractor is parallel to the vehicle centre line.


1. Install the rear seat centre seat belt assembly (3).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the rear seat centre seat belt retractor to body retaining bolt (2).

Tighten the retaining bolt to 43 N.m (32 lb ft).

3. Install the rear seat centre seat belt noise damper pad (1).





Important: Make sure that the centre belt anchor is parallel to vehicle centre line.


4. Install the rear seat centre seat belt anchor (2).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

5. Install the rear seat centre seat belt to body anchor retaining nut (1).

Tighten the retaining nut to 43 N.m (32 lb ft).

6. Install the rear window shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
7. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement) .
8. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement) .
