Rear Bumper Fascia Extension Replacement


Removal Procedure

Warning:Refer to Safety Glasses Warning .
Danger:To avoid any vehicle damage, serious personal injury or death when major components are removed from the vehicle and the vehicle is supported by a hoist, support the vehicle with jack stands at the opposite end from which the components are being removed and strap the vehicle to the hoist.
1.Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

2.Remove the rear wheelhouse liner. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Inner Panel Replacement .





3.Remove the rear bumper fascia extension to rear bumper fascia retaining screw (1).





4.Disengage the rear bumper fascia extension retaining clips (1) from the rear bumper fascia.

5.Remove the rear bumper fascia extension (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





1.Position the rear bumper fascia extension (2) to the vehicle.

2.Engage the rear bumper fascia extension retaining clips (1) to the rear bumper fascia.

Caution:Refer to Fastener Caution .





3.Install the rear bumper fascia extension to rear bumper fascia retaining screw (1) and tighten to2 N �m (18 lb in).

4.Install the rear wheelhouse liner. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Inner Panel Replacement .

5.Lower the vehicle.
