J 42059 Cigar Lighter Socket Remover

Removal Procedure

Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning (Battery Disconnect Warning).

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Service and Repair).




2. Place the T receptacle of J 42059 into one of the retaining tabs (1). Angle the other side into the opposite retaining tab. Pull the power accessory receptacle straight out.




3. Disconnect the power accessory receptacle electrical connector (1).




4. Remove the bezel (1) and the cover (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the cover (2) and the bezel (1).




2. Connect the power accessory receptacle electrical connector (1).
3. Install the accessory power receptacle to the receptacle bezel.
4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Service and Repair).
