Engine Mount Replacement

Removal Procedure

Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning (Service Precautions).
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Service and Repair).
2. Raise and properly support the engine. Refer to Engine Support Fixture (Engine Support Fixture).




3. Remove the bolt and 2 nuts (1, 2), and separate the engine mounting insulator RH.




4. Remove the 3 bolts (1-3) and radiator reserve tank.





Note: Perform this procedure only when replacement of the engine mounting insulator is necessary.

5. Remove the 3 bolts (1-3) and engine mounting insulator RH.

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Install the engine mounting insulator RH with the 3 bolts (1-3).

Tighten the bolts to 52 Nm (38 lb ft).




2. Install the radiator reserve tank with the 3 bolts (1-3).

Tighten the bolts to 7.0 Nm (62 lb in).




3. Install the engine mounting insulator RH with the bolt and 2 nuts.

* Tighten the nut 1 to 95 Nm (70 lb ft)
* Tighten the nut 2 to 52 Nm (38 lb ft)
* Tighten the bolt 3 to 95 Nm (70 lb ft)

4. Remove the engine support fixture.
5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Service and Repair).
