Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Disconnect the duty vacuum switching valve connector (2), 2 vacuum hoses and wire harness clamp.




3. Remove the screw (1) and duty vacuum switching valve.

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution)

1. Install the duty vacuum switching valve with the screw (1) and tighten to 3.4 Nm (30 lb in).




2. Connect the duty vacuum switching valve connector (2), 2 vacuum hoses and wire harness clamp.
3. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement (Service and Repair).
