Internal Control Module Malfunction.







Fault symptoms
- CHECK ENGINE.
- Engine will not start.

On-Board Diagnostics

Type of diagnosis:
- Once per driving cycle. Interrupted when fault criteria fulfilled or OK reported Restarts next driving cycle.

Enable criteria:

Fault criteria:
- Flash memory checksum error.

Dependents :
- None.

System reaction to a fault:
- Fuel shut-off.

OK report:
- Flash memory checksum correct.

- Type III.

Diagnostic help
Flash memory incorrectly programmed, which means that the Control module must be changed unless it can be reprogrammed.
