Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement
Removal Procedure
1.Open the liftgate.
2.Remove the bolts from the upper inside edge of the fascia.
1.Raise and support the vehicle to a suitable height. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
2.Remove the screws from the rear fascia lower extension.
3.Remove the lower extension from the fascia.
Pull forward to release the extension retainers from the fascia locators.
4.Remove the lower fascia push-pins.
1.Remove the screws that retain the fascia to the wheelhouse panel to the flanges. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement .
2.Remove the bolts from the upper inside edge of the rear fascia to the quarter panel.
3.Remove the fascia from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1.Position the fascia to the vehicle.
Notice:Refer to Fastener Notice .
Install the bolts to the upper inside edge of the fascia.
TightenTighten the bolts to 10 N �m (89 lb in).
2.Install the bolts to the upper inside edge of the fascia to the quarter panel.
TightenTighten the bolts to 10 N �m (89 lb in).
1.Install the screws that retain the fascia to the wheelhouse panel to the flanges.
TightenTighten the screws to 2 N �m (18 lb in).
1.Install the lower extension to the fascia.
Push inward on the lower extension to lock the retainers into the fascia.
2.Install the screws to the rear fascia lower extension.
TightenTighten the screws to 2 N �m (18 lb in).
3.Lower the vehicle.
4.Close the liftgate.
