DTC Confirmation Procedure
P0776
WARNING:
^ Perform road test in a place where there is no traffic to prevent an accident.
^ Road test should be performed by two persons, a driver and a tester, on a level road.
NOTE:
^ Be sure to troubleshoot first unexpected DTCs previously detected in "DTC Confirmation Procedure".
^ Confirm that the following conditions are met in this procedure.
- Battery voltage > 10.5 V
1) Drive vehicle at more than 50 km/h (31 mile/h) for 40 sec.
2) Stop vehicle.
3) Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "OFF", and leave ignition mode in "OFF" for 10 sec.
4) Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".
5) Repeat Step 1) through 2) twice.

^ Confirm that the following conditions are met in this procedure.
- CVT fluid temperature at engine start >/= -20° C (-4° F)
1) Drive vehicle at 30 - 50 km/h (19 mile/h - 31 mile/h) constantly for 40 sec. or more at "D" range. (Keep throttle valve opening constantly in this step).
2) Stop vehicle.
3) Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "OFF", and leave ignition mode in "OFF" for 10 sec.
4) Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".
5) Repeat Step 1) through 2) twice.
