DTC Detecting Condition and Trouble Area






DTC Confirmation Procedure

1) Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON" and leave ignition mode in "ON" for 2 sec.

DTC Troubleshooting

1.
Was "Engine and Emission Control System Check" performed?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Go to Engine and Emission Control System Check Engine and Emission Control System Check.

2. Registration data check

Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
Connect scan tool to DLC.
Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".
Check registered VIN data. Registered VIN Data Check

Is registered VIN data correct?
YES -
Go to Step 3.
NO -
Resister correct VIN data to ECM. VIN Registration

3. DTC recheck

Clear DTC. DTC Clearance
Perform DTC confirmation procedure and recheck DTC. DTC Check

Is DTC P0630 still detected?
YES -
Check ECM power and ground circuits. Component Tests and General Diagnostics
If OK, replace ECM and recheck DTC. Service and Repair
NO -
End.
