DTC Confirmation Procedure
WARNING:
If you do not select a suitable route and take proper precautions when performing a road test, an accident can occur.
- Select a level road with no traffic to minimize the risk of accident.
- Perform the test extremely carefully.
- Perform the road test using 2 persons, a driver and an assistant.
NOTE:
- If other DTC than P2763 is newly detected during this "DTC Confirmation Procedure", troubleshoot the newly detected DTC in first.
- Confirm that the following conditions are met in this procedure.
- Battery voltage > 10.5 V
1) Drive vehicle at more than 40 km/h (25 mile/h) for 10 sec.
DTC Troubleshooting
1.
Was "CVT System Check" performed?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Go to CVT System Check CVT System Check.
2. TCC solenoid valve drive circuit check
Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
Disconnect "C142", "E19" and "E20" connectors.
Check for proper terminal connection to "C142", "E19" and "E20" connectors.
If connections are OK, check the following points.
- Resistance of "A3" circuit between "C142" connector and ground: infinity
- Resistance between "A3" circuit terminal and each terminal at "C142" connector.
Are they in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 3.
NO -
Repair or replace defective wire harness.
3. TCC solenoid valve check
Check resistance of TCC solenoid valve. Testing and Inspection
Is it in good condition?
YES -
Substitute a known-good TCM and recheck DTC. Service and Repair
NO -
Replace TCC solenoid valve (valve body assembly). Service and Repair
