Circuit Diagram

DTC Confirmation Procedure

NOTE:

Check that the following condition is satisfied when using this procedure.

- Battery voltage > 10.5 V

1) Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON", and leave ignition mode in "ON" for 10 sec.

DTC Troubleshooting

1.
Was "CVT System Check" performed?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Go to CVT System Check CVT System Check.

2. TCC solenoid valve drive circuit check

Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
Disconnect "C142", "E19" and "E20" connectors.
Check for proper terminal connection to "C142", "E19" and "E20" connectors.
If connections are OK, check that TCC solenoid valve drive circuit (A3) is as follows.
- Resistance between "A3" circuit terminal and each terminal at "C142" connector: infinity
- Voltage of "A3" circuit: 0 - 1 V (with ignition mode of keyless push start system in "ON")

Are they in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 3.
NO -
Repair or replace defective wire harness.

3. TCC solenoid valve check

Check resistance of TCC solenoid valve. Testing and Inspection

Is it in good condition?
YES -
Substitute a known-good TCM and recheck DTC. Service and Repair
NO -
Replace TCC solenoid valve (valve body assembly). Service and Repair
