Governor: Service and Repair

Removal
1. Disconnect speedometer cable.
2. Remove air cleaner cover and hose.
3. Remove governor cover, then the O-ring.
4. Remove governor body with thrust washer.
5. Remove governor body adapter with gasket, then governor oil strainer.
6. Remove gasket.

Installation
1. Install new gasket on governor body adapter.
2. Install governor body adapter.
3. Install governor body with thrust washer.
4. Install governor body adapter with gasket, then governor oil strainer.
5. Install governor cover with O-ring.
6. Install air cleaner cover and hose.
7. Connect speedometer cable.
8. Ensure transaxle fluid level is to specifications, then road test vehicle.
