DTC C2176/76 - Receiver Error

DESCRIPTION

When the tire pressure warning ECU is detected to ECU internal error, DTC C2176/76 is stored.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
- When replacing the tire pressure warning ECU, read the IDs stored in the old ECU using the Techstream and write them down before removal.
- It is necessary to perform initialization after registration of the transmitter IDs into the tire pressure warning ECU after the ECU has been replaced.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC (C2176/76)
(a) Clear the DTC.
(b) Turn the power switch off.
(c) Turn the power switch on (IG) and check for DTC.
OK:
DTC C2176/76 is not output.
NG -- REPLACE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU
OK -- END
