REMOVAL

HINT:
- The installation procedures are the removal procedures in reverse order. However, only installation procedures requiring additional information are included.
- A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts).

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPONENT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE COVER





(a) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 3 claws and remove the cover.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HANDLE INSIDE





(a) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 3 claws and remove the lever.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER





(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 16 clips and cover.
4. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR LOCK OPENER ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the rod as shown in the illustration.
(b) Remove the screw and opener.
5. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the connector and cable.
(b) Remove the control rod.
(c) Remove the 2 bolts and lock.
6. REMOVE REAR SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY

7. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT
8. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE





(a) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 7 clips and remove the rear floor finish plate.
9. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRAY ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the bolt and tray.
10. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER INNER LH





(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips and trim.
11. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER INNER RH





(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips and trim.
12. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
(a) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 3 clips and remove the plate.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

13. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

HINT: (Removal)

14. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

HINT: (Removal)

15. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER LH (Removal)

16. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL LOWER LH (Removal)

17. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT





(a) w/ Woofer speaker:
Disconnect the connector.
(b) w/ Woofer speaker:
Remove the 2 bolts and anchor bracket.
(c) w/ Woofer speaker:
Remove the 2 bolts and speaker.





(d) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips (inside vehicle).
(e) Using a clip remover, remove the 5 clips and trim.
18. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR LOCK OPEN BEZEL





(a) Pull up at the rear edge of the bezel to disengage the clip (*1).
(b) Slide the bezel rearward to disengage the claw (*2).
(c) The clip mentioned in step (*1) will remain in the opener. Remove the clip and re-attach it to the bezel.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

19. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR LOCK OPEN LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the 2 bolts and lever.
(b) Disconnect the 2 cables.
20. REMOVE LUGGAGE OPENER CANCEL CYLINDER ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the bolt and cylinder.
21. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the cable as shown in the illustration (vehicle room left side).





(b) Remove the cable (luggage room left side).
(c) Remove the cable as shown in the illustration (luggage compartment door side).
