SEAT BELT: FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Convertible):
REMOVAL
HINT:
- The installation procedures are the removal procedures in reverse order. However, only installation procedures requiring additional information are included.
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
- A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts).
1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (Removal)
2. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE COVER RH (Removal)
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE COVER LH (Removal)
4. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE RH (Removal)
5. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE LH (Removal)
6. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY RH
7. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH
8. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER LH (Removal)
9. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER RH (Removal)
10. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (Removal)
11. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (Removal)
12. REMOVE CUP HOLDER NO.1
13. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER LH (Removal)
14. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL LOWER LH (Removal)
15. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
NOTICE:
- Removal of the seat belt pretensioner must be started at least 90 seconds after the ignition switch is turned OFF and the negative (-) terminal cable is disconnected from the battery.
- Carefully read the notices for the "pretensioner" in the SRS airbag system section and the front seat outer belt section (Service Precautions).
(a) Disconnect the pretensioner connector as shown in the illustration.
(b) Remove the 3 bolts and outer belt.
