Removal








SUSPENSION: REAR STABILIZER BAR:

REMOVAL

HINT: COMPONENTS: ([1][2]Diagrams)

1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL
2. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Remove the 2 nuts and stabilizer link.

HINT: If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a hexagon wrench (5 mm) to hold the stud.

3. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH

HINT: Remove the RH side using the same procedures as for the LH side.

4. REMOVE STABILIZER BAR REAR





(a) Convertible:
(1) Remove the 2 bolts and the floor panel brace rear.
(2) Remove the 4 bolts and the member brace rear lower LH and RH.
(3) Remove the 4 bolts and the center floor panel reinforcement sub-assembly LH and RH.





(b) Remove the 8 bolts, 4 stabilizer brackets, 2 stabilizer bushes and stabilizer bar.
