Seat Blower Control Circuit
DESCRIPTION
The seat blower changes airflow volume according to a signal from the A/C amplifier.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT FUSE (S-HTR)
(a) Remove the S-HTR fuse from the instrument panel J/B.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPLACE FUSE (S-HTR)
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER - SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER)
(a) Disconnect the connector from A/C amplifier.
(b) Disconnect the connector from the seat climate control blower.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE BLOWER - SEAT BACK CLIMATE BLOWER)
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER - BATTERY)
(a) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Standard:
Result:
C -- GO TO PUSH BUTTON START SYSTEM
B -- GO TO STARTING SYSTEM
A -- Continue to next step.
5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER - BODY GROUND)
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
6. INSPECT AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER
(a) Remove the A/C amplifier with connectors still connected.
(b) Turn the ignition switch on (IG).
(c) Measure the waveform according to the value(s).
Standard :
OK:
Waveform appears as shown in the illustration.
HINT: Waveform varies with the blower level.
NG -- REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER
OK -- REPLACE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER
