SUSPENSION: FRONT LOWER BALL JOINT: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL LOWER BALL JOINT ASSEMBLY FRONT LH
(a) Install the lower ball joint assembly front LH to the steering knuckle with the castle nut.
Torque: 123 Nm (1,250 kgf-cm, 91 ft-lbf)
(b) Install a new cotter pin to the steering knuckle.

NOTE: Further tighten the nut up to 60° if the holes for the cotter pin are not aligned.

2. INSTALL FRONT AXLE ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Install the front axle assembly LH Installation.
3. INSTALL FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM
(a) Install the front lower suspension arm Installation.
4. INSTALL TIE ROD ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Install the tie rod assembly LH Installation.
5. INSTALL DISC WHEEL
6. INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Install the front disc brake caliper assembly LH Installation.
7. INSTALL SPEED SENSOR FRONT LH
(a) Install the speed sensor front LH Installation.
8. INSTALL FRONT AXLE SHAFT LH NUT
(a) Install the front axle hub LH nut Installation.
9. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL
Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf)
10. INSPECT AND ADJUST FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT
(a) Inspect and adjust the front wheel alignment Service and Repair.
11. CHECK FOR SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL
(a) Check for the speed sensor signal Test Mode Procedure.
