Removal








SUSPENSION: REAR STABILIZER BAR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

NOTE: If an old gasket still remains on the pipe, remove it. Also, if any bolts or nuts are rusted, replace them.

1. REMOVE REAR WHEELS
2. REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY Removal
3. SEPARATE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Remove the nut and separate the rear stabilizer link assembly LH (lower side) from the rear stabilizer bar.

HINT: If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a hexagon wrench (5 mm) to hold the stud.

4. SEPARATE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH

HINT: Perform the same procedures as for the LH side.

5. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR STABILIZER BAR BRACKET





(a) Remove the 2 bolts and No. 2 rear stabilizer bar bracket.
6. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR STABILIZER BAR BRACKET





(a) Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 rear stabilizer bar bracket.
7. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER BAR
(a) Remove the rear stabilizer bar with the stabilizer bushing.
8. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER BUSHING
(a) Remove the 2 rear stabilizer bushings from the rear stabilizer bar.
