P311 HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL: WATER PUMP WITH MOTOR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY Removal
2. REMOVE WATER PUMP WITH MOTOR AND BRACKET ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the clip and disconnect the water hose from the water pump with motor and bracket assembly.
NOTICE: Do not damage the water hose protector when removing the clip.

(b) Disconnect the connector from the water pump with motor and bracket assembly.
NOTICE: Wrap the connectors of the vehicle wire harness and the water pump with motor and bracket assembly with electrical tape to prevent LLC from contaminating the connectors.





(c) Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and water pump with motor and bracket assembly.
NOTICE: Do not hold the water pump with motor and bracket assembly by the connector terminals when removing or installing it from the vehicle.
