B2274
THEFT DETERRENT / KEYLESS ENTRY: SMART KEY SYSTEM (for Start Function): B2274: ACC Monitor Malfunction
DTC B2274 - ACC Monitor Malfunction
DESCRIPTION
This DTC is output when there is a problem in the ACCD output circuit, which is from the inside of the main body ECU (instrument panel junction block) to the ACC relay.
HINT: When the main body ECU (instrument panel junction block) is replaced with a new one and the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal is connected, the power source mode becomes the IG-ON mode. When the battery is removed and reinstalled, the power source mode that was selected when the battery was removed is restored.
After the main body ECU (instrument panel junction block) is replaced, perform the registration procedures for the engine immobiliser system Engine Immobiliser System (W/ Smart Key System).

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the Techstream on.
(c) Read the Data List according to the displays on the Techstream.
HINT: When using the Techstream with the engine switch off, turn on and off any of the door courtesy light switches repeatedly at 1.5 second intervals or less until communication between the Techstream and vehicle starts.
Main Body
OK:
"ON" (engine switch on (ACC)) appears on the screen.
NG -- INSPECT RELAY (ACC RELAY)
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Clear the DTC Smart Key System (for Start Function).
(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(c) After 10 seconds have elapsed, check if the trouble occurs again.
OK:
DTC B2273 is not output.
NG -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK)
OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK
3. INSPECT RELAY (ACC RELAY)
(a) Remove the ACC relay from the relay block No. 5*1.
(b) Remove the ACC relay from the relay block No. 8*2.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
HINT:
- *1: for TMC Made
- *2: for except TMC Made
NG -- REPLACE ACC RELAY
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ACC RELAY - MAIN BODY ECU (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK)
(a) for TMC Made:
(1) Disconnect the E50 ECU connector.
(2) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(b) for except TMC Made:
(1) Disconnect the E50 connector.
(2) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (ACC RELAY - MAIN BODY ECU (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK)
OK -- Continue to next step.
5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ACC RELAY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
(a) for TMC Made:
(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(2) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:
(b) for except TMC Made:
(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(2) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (ACC RELAY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
OK -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK)
