Slip Indicator Light Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The SLIP indicator blinks during Enhanced VSC operation.
The skid control ECU is connected to the combination meter via the CAN and multiplex communications.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTE: When replacing the skid control ECU, perform initialization of linear solenoid valve and calibration Initialization.

PROCEDURE

1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (SLIP INDICATOR LIGHT)
(a) Select the Active Test, generate a control command, and then check that the SLIP indicator light operates.

ABS / VSC / TRAC:





OK:
Turn the SLIP indicator light on or off.
OK -- REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU
NG -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
(a) Check if a CAN communication system DTC is output Diagnosis System.

A -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
(a) Check if a multiplex communication system DTC is output Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
