EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: SIDE MUDGUARD: REMOVAL

REMOVAL
HINT: When removing the mouldings, heat the vehicle body and mouldings using a heat light.

Heating Temperature

NOTICE: Do not heat the vehicle body or mouldings excessively.

1. REMOVE FRONT FENDER OUTSIDE MOULDING

(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Disengage the 2 clips and remove the front fender outside moulding.
(c) Remove the 2 clips (No. 1 outside moulding clip) from the front fender outside moulding.
2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE MOULDING

(a) Put protective tape around the front door outside moulding.

(b) Remove the hole plug and nut.

(d) Disengage the 13 clips and remove the front door outside moulding.
(e) Remove the 13 clips (No. 1 outside moulding clip) and outside moulding retainer from the front door outside moulding.
3. REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE MOULDING

(a) Put protective tape around the rear door outside moulding.

(b) Remove the hole plug and nut.

(c) Disengage the 9 clips and remove the rear door outside moulding.
(d) Remove the 9 clips (No. 1 outside moulding clip) and outside moulding retainer from the rear door outside moulding.
4. REMOVE NO. 2 ROCKER PANEL MOULDING PROTECTOR Removal
5. REMOVE REAR ROCKER PANEL MOULDING END COVER

(a) Remove the 2 screws.
(b) Using a clip remover, remove the clip and rear rocker panel moulding end cover.
(c) Remove the 2 grommets from the rear rocker panel moulding end cover.
