Removal








AUDIO / VIDEO: STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (for Manual Seat)
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system Service Precautions.
NOTICE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat)
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side Removal.

3. REMOVE REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER RH (for Manual Seat)
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side Removal.

4. REMOVE REAR INNER SEAT TRACK COVER RH (for Manual Seat)
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side Removal.

5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for Manual Seat)
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side Removal.

6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side Removal.

7. REMOVE REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER RH (for Power Seat)
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side Removal.

8. REMOVE REAR INNER SEAT TRACK COVER RH (for Power Seat)
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side Removal.

9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for Power Seat)
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side Removal.

10. REMOVE AUDIO AMPLIFIER COVER





(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips and audio amplifier cover.
11. REMOVE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the 4 connectors.
(b) Remove the 2 bolts.
(c) Disengage the 2 guides and remove the stereo component amplifier assembly.
