2GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: THROTTLE BODY: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
2. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER
3. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair
4. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH HOSE





(a) Disconnect the 3 hoses and hose clamp.





(b) Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector and wire harness clamp.
(c) Separate the ventilation hose.





(d) Loosen the hose clamp and separate the air cleaner cap with hose from the throttle body.





(e) Release the 3 clamps and remove the air cleaner cap with hose.
6. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY





(a) Disconnect the 2 water by-pass hoses from the throttle body.





(b) Disconnect the throttle body connector and wire harness clamp.
(c) Remove the 4 bolts, throttle body and wire harness clamp stay.
(d) Remove the gasket from the intake air surge tank assembly.
