SEAT BELT: FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Hatchback): REMOVAL

REMOVAL
CAUTION: Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag) Service Precautions.
NOTE: Always use "Torx" socket wrench E10 when removing the front seat.
HINT: The procedure described below is for the driver side. Use the same procedure for both the driver and front passenger sides, unless otherwise specified.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait for at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag from working (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag).

2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY Removal
3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY Removal
4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY
(a) for Driver Side:




(1) Disconnect the seat position sensor connector.
(2) Remove the buckle switch connector.
(3) Remove the 2 wiring harness clamps.




(4) Remove the wire harness from the claw of the front seat cushion shield.
(5) Remove the bolt and the front seat inner belt.
(b) for Front Passenger Side:




(1) Remove the buckle switch connector.
(2) Remove the 2 wiring harness clamps.




(3) Remove the wiring harness from the claw of the front seat cushion shield.
(4) Remove the bolt and the front seat inner belt.
