SEAT BELT: FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Sedan): REMOVAL

REMOVAL
CAUTION: Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag) Service Precautions.
NOTE: Always use "Torx" socket wrench E10 when removing the front seat.
HINT: The procedure described below is for the driver side. Use the same procedure for both the front passenger and driver sides, unless otherwise specified.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait for at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag from working (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag).

2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY Removal
3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY Removal
4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY





(a) for Driver Side:
(1) Disconnect the seat position sensor connector.
(2) Using a clip remover, remove the connector.
(3) Using a clip remover, remove the clamp.
(4) Remove the clamp.





(b) for Front Passenger Seat:
(1) Using a clip remover, remove the connector.
(2) Using a clip remover, remove the clamp.
(3) Remove the clamp.





(c) Remove the wire harness from the claw of the front seat cushion inner shield.
(d) Remove the nut and the front seat inner belt.
