Removal

Remove the following items:

- the right front wheel Refer to: Wheels Service and Repair

Caution! Cleaning must be directed around the crankshaft journal, not along it. Make sure that any residue from the emery cloth and any other foreign materials are completely removed before installing a new crankshaft seal.

Note! Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.

Install the following items:
1. 999 7198 Press tool 999 7198 Press tool 999 7196 Counterhold 999 7196 Counterhold
2. Torque: T9997198, 100 Nm

Torque: Center nut vibration damper (crankshaft) Stage 1: 120 Nm Stage 2: Loosen the screw 360 degree Stage 3: 50 Nm Stage 4: 90 degree









Install the following items:
- the auxiliaries belt Refer to: Accessory Drive Belt Service and Repair
- the right front wheel Refer to: Wheels Service and Repair
