DTC B278E-87: Immobilizer Amp Missing Message [11/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Smart Key > Clear DTCs 

      Result

      Proceed to
      NEXT

    Result:

  2. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Press the engine switch with the electric key transmitter sub-assembly not in the cabin.
    2. Check for DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Smart Key > Trouble Codes

      B278E-87 is not output B

    Result: 

    A 

    REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY). Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2023 - ]
