VSC OFF Switch Circuit [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (TRAC/VSC OFF MODE) 
    1. Check that the indicator light and mode condition on the GTS change according to VSC OFF switch operation.

  2. INSPECT VSC OFF SWITCH 
    1. Turn the ignition switch off.
    2. Inspect the VSC OFF switch.

      Refer to INSPECTION [12/2019 - ]

      OK

      The VSC OFF switch is normal.

      Result

      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPLACE VSC OFF SWITCH. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - ]

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY - VSC OFF SWITCH) 
    1. Make sure that there is no looseness at the locking part and the connecting part of the connector.

      OK

      The connector is securely connected.

    2. Disconnect the A57 No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.
    3. Check both the connector case and the terminals for deformation and corrosion.

      OK

      No deformation or corrosion.

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A57-9 (CSW) - P6-5 (+) Always Below 1 Ω
      A57-9 (CSW) or P6-5 (+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      P6-2 (E) - Body ground 1 minute or more after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal Below 1 Ω

    REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - 11/2023]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [11/2023 - ]
