Removal [10/2022 - 11/2023]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - 11/2023]

  3. DISCONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT FRONT CUSHION SHIELD 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  7. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15

  9. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16

  10. REMOVE SEATBACK CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER (w/ Climate Control Seat System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20

  11. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Disengage the clamp.
    3. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the 2 front No. 2 seatback edge protectors from the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

    4. Remove the lumbar support adjuster assembly from the front seatback frame sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction
    5. Remove the seatback felt from the lumbar support adjuster assembly.
  12. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25
