  1. ILLUMINATED ENTRY SYSTEM 
    1. The illuminated entry system has the following control functions:
      Control Outline Lights that Operate
      Actuation Area-linked When a registered key is brought within any vehicle exterior detection area around the doors, the lights that operate turn on.

      • Spot Light Assembly RH
      • No. 1 Room Light Assembly
      • Center Tray Illumination Light (No. 1 Instrument Panel Light Sub-assembly)*
      • Front Passenger Side Tray Illumination Light (No. 1 Instrument Panel Light Sub-assembly)*
      • Door Ambient Light (Door Trim Board Sub-assembly)*
      Door Lock/Unlock-linked When any door is unlocked, the lights that operate turn on.
      • Map Light Assembly
      • Spot Light Assembly LH
      • Spot Light Assembly RH
      • No. 1 Room Light Assembly
      • Center Tray Illumination Light (No. 1 Instrument Panel Light Sub-assembly)*
      • Front Passenger Side Tray Illumination Light (No. 1 Instrument Panel Light Sub-assembly)*
      • Door Ambient Light (Door Trim Board Sub-assembly)*
      When all doors are locked, the lights that operate turn off.
      Door Open/Close-linked When any door is opened, the lights that operate turn on.

      When any front door is opened, the lights that operate turn on. Push Start Switch Illumination
      When front doors are closed, the lights that operate turn off.
      Push Start Switch-linked When the ignition switch is turned from ACC or ON to off, the lights that operate turn on.

      • When the engine is started, the lights that operate turn off. (For Gasoline Model)

      Shift Position-linked* When the shift lever is moved from P to any other position, the lights that operate dim.
      • Center Tray Illumination Light (No. 1 Instrument Panel Light Sub-assembly)

      • Door Ambient Light (Door Trim Board Sub-assembly)
      Delay When approximately 15 seconds elapse after any of the following conditions is met, the lights that operate turn off:
      • An actuation area-linked function is used.
      • The door unlock-linked function is active.
      • Any door is opened and then all doors are closed when the ignition switch is off.
      • The ignition switch is turned from ACC or ON to off when all doors are closed.

      • No. 1 Room Light Assembly
      • Center Tray Illumination Light (No. 1 Instrument Panel Light Sub-assembly)*

      When approximately 40 seconds elapse after any of the following conditions is met, the lights that operate turn off:
      • Any front door is opened and then front doors are closed when the ignition switch is off.
      • The ignition switch is turned from ACC or ON to off when all doors are closed.

  2. BATTERY SAVING CONTROL SYSTEM 
    1. The battery saving function has the following control functions:
      Control Condition Lights that Operate
      Battery Saving When 20 minutes elapse after the ignition switch is turned from ACC or ON to off and the lights that operate remain on, the lights are turned off.
      HINT: 

      Battery saving control is canceled when any of the following operations is performed before the lights are turned off by battery saving control. After the operation is performed, the lights remain on for another 20 minutes and then the lights are turned off.

      • The ignition switch is turned ACC or ON.
      • Any door is opened and closed.
      • Any door is unlocked.
      • The key enters any exterior actuation area.

      • Vanity Light Assembly
      • Courtesy Light Assembly

      • Door Ambient Light (Door Trim Board Sub-assembly)*
      When 20 minutes elapse after the ignition switch is turned from ACC or ON to off and the lights that operate remain on, the light is turned off.
      HINT: 

      Battery saving control is canceled when any of the following operations is performed before the light is turned off by battery saving control. After the operation is performed, the light remain on for another 20 minutes and then the light is turned off.
