Indicator Circuit [09/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (CAN BUS CHECK) 
    1. Using the GTS, perform CAN bus diagnostics and check that there are no malfunctions in ECUs connected to the CAN communication system.

      CAN Bus Check 

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      All of the ECUs and sensors that are currently connected to the CAN communication system are displayed A
      None of the ECUs and sensors that are currently connected to the CAN communication system are displayed, or some of them are not displayed B

    Result: 

    B 

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 

    For HV Model: Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2019 - 10/2021] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2021 - 10/2022] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2023 - ]

    For Gasoline Model: Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2023 - ]

  2. CHECK FOR DTCs (HEALTH CHECK) 
    1. Check for DTCs.
    2. Turn the ignition switch off.

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      No DTCs are output A
      DTCs are output B

    Result: 

    B 

    GO TO  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [12/2019 - 11/2023]

  3. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS 
    1. According to the display on the GTS, perform the Active Test.

      Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Active Test

    2. Turn the ignition switch off.

      Result

    REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2019 - ]

  4. READ VALUE USING GTS 
    1. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.
