Installation [12/2019 - 10/2021]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING THERMISTOR TAPE 

    HINT: 

    The air conditioning thermistor tape is reusable. Only replace the tape if it is damaged or contaminated with foreign matter.

    1. Remove the air conditioning thermistor tape.
    2. Clean the air conditioning thermistor assembly sensing portion with a piece of cloth.
    3. Peel off the smaller release sheet, and then attach the air conditioning thermistor tape to the air conditioning thermistor assembly sensing portion as shown in the illustration.

      HINT: 

      Use your fingers to push out any air bubbles from under the tape.

      STANDARD CLEARANCE

      Area Measurement
      A 14.4 mm (0.567 in.)
      B 7.25 mm (0.285 in.)
  2. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING THERMISTOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the connector.
    2. Temporarily install the air conditioning thermistor assembly to the windshield glass as shown in the illustration.

      *a Stopper
      Lock
      Install in this Direction
    3. Push in the stopper to install the air conditioning thermistor assembly as shown in the illustration.
  3. INSTALL SENSOR COVER 
    1. Engage the guide and 2 claws to install the sensor cover.
