Installation [12/2019 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONER PRESSURE SENSOR (for Gasoline Model) 
    1. Remove the vinyl tape from the air conditioner tube and accessory assembly and the connecting part of the air conditioner pressure sensor.
    2. Sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new air conditioner pressure sensor and the fitting surface of the air conditioner pressure sensor.

      Compressor Oil

      ND-OIL 12 or equivalent

    3. Using a 27 mm deep socket wrench, install the air conditioner pressure sensor as shown in the illustration.

      *a Turn
      *b Hold

      Torque: 10.8 N.m (110 kgf/cm, 8 ft.lbf) 

    4. Connect the connector.
  2. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONER PRESSURE SENSOR (for HV Model) 
    1. Remove the vinyl tape from the air conditioner tube and accessory assembly and the connecting part of the air conditioner pressure sensor.
    2. Sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new air conditioner pressure sensor and the fitting surface of the air conditioner pressure sensor.

      Compressor Oil

      ND-OIL 11 or equivalent

    3. Using a 27 mm deep socket wrench, install the air conditioner pressure sensor as shown in the illustration.

      *a Turn
      *b Hold

      Torque: 10.8 N.m (110 kgf/cm, 8 ft.lbf) 

    4. Connect the connector.
  3. CHARGE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM WITH REFRIGERANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  4. WARM UP ENGINE (for Gasoline Model) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  5. WARM UP COMPRESSOR (for HV Model) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  6. INSPECT FOR REFRIGERANT LEAK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5
