Removal [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [11/2023 - ]

  3. REMOVE BATTERY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2023 - ]

  4. DISCONNECT HEATER WATER HOSE A 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and disconnect the hose clamp and wire harness.

    2. Using pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the heater water hose A.
      NOTE:
      • Do not apply excessive force to the heater water hose A.
      • Prepare a drain pan or cloth in case the coolant leaks.

  5. DISCONNECT HEATER WATER HOSE B 
    1. Using pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the heater water hose B.
      NOTE:
      • Do not apply excessive force to the heater water hose B.
      • Prepare a drain pan or cloth in case the coolant leaks.

  6. REMOVE HEATER WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and heater water pump assembly.
