On-Vehicle Inspection [11/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT AIR CONDITIONING WATER PUMP RELAY (w/ Stop And Start System) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Air Conditioning Water Pump Relay)

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      3 - 5 Battery voltage is not applied between terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher
      3 - 5 Battery voltage is applied between terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the air conditioning water pump relay.

  2. INSPECT MAGNET-CLUTCH RELAY (for Gasoline Model) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Magnet-clutch Relay)

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      3 - 5 Battery voltage is not applied between terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher
      3 - 5 Battery voltage is applied between terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the magnet-clutch relay.
