Removal [12/2019 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION ARM COVER 

    See step  3

  3. REMOVE REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Using a jack and wooden block, support the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly.
      NOTE:
      • When jacking up the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly, be sure to jack it up slowly.
      • Make sure to perform this operation with the vehicle kept as low as possible.
      • Keep supporting the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly with a jack until the installation of the rear shock absorber assembly has been completed.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts, nut and the rear shock absorber assembly from the vehicle.

  4. REMOVE REAR UPPER SHOCK ABSORBER BRACKET 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the rear upper shock absorber bracket is necessary.

    1. Remove the 3 nuts, and the rear upper shock absorber bracket from the vehicle.
