Removal [11/2023 - ]: Procedure
- REMOVE REAR WHEEL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION ARM COVER
See step 3
- REMOVE REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY
- Using a jack and wooden block, support the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly.NOTE:
- When jacking up the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly, be sure to jack it up slowly.
- Make sure to perform this operation with the vehicle kept as low as possible.
- Keep supporting the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly with a jack until the installation of the rear shock absorber assembly has been completed.

Wooden Block Placement Location - Remove the 2 bolts, nut and the rear shock absorber assembly from the vehicle.
- Using a jack and wooden block, support the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly.
- REMOVE REAR UPPER SHOCK ABSORBER BRACKET
HINT:
Perform this procedure only when replacement of the rear upper shock absorber bracket is necessary.
