Removal [11/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (for RH Side) 

    for A25A-FXS: Refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - ]

    for T24A-FTS: Refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - ]

  3. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION ARM COVER 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the rear suspension arm cover from the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly.
  4. SEPARATE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY 

    See step  4

  5. REMOVE REAR COIL SPRING 

    See step  5

  6. REMOVE REAR LOWER COIL SPRING INSULATOR 

    See step  6

  7. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the nut, rear No. 2 suspension camber adjust cam, rear suspension toe adjust cam sub-assembly and rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly.
      NOTE:

      Hold the rear suspension toe adjust cam sub-assembly while rotating the nut.

  8. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY 
    1. for Gasoline Model 2WD:
      1. Using a transmission jack and attachment, support the rear suspension member sub-assembly.

    2. for Gasoline Model AWD:
      1. Using a transmission jack and a wooden block, support the rear differential carrier assembly.

    3. for HV Model:
      1. Using a transmission jack and wooden block, support the rear suspension member sub-assembly.

    4. Remove the nut and separate the No. 2 parking brake wire assembly from the rear lower suspension member stopper.

    5. Remove the bolt, nut and rear lower suspension member stopper.

    6. Using a transmission jack and a wooden block, support the rear axle carrier sub-assembly.

    7. Remove the nut (A) and spacer.
    8. Remove the bolt (B), nut and rear No. 1 suspension arm assembly from the rear axle carrier sub-assembly and rear suspension member sub-assembly.
      NOTE:

      Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Loosen the bolt with the nut secured.

    9. Temporarily install the rear lower suspension member stopper with the bolt and nut.
