Removal [12/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [10/2022 - ]

  2. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION ARM COVER LH 

    See step  3 [12/2019 - 10/2022], or see step  3 [10/2022 - 11/2023], or see step  3 [11/2023 - ]

  3. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION ARM COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the bolt, nut (A) from the rear stabilizer link assembly LH.

      NOTE:

      Because the nut (A) has its own stopper, do not turn the nut (A). Loosen the bolt with the nut (A) secured.

    2. Remove the nut (B) and the rear stabilizer link assembly LH from the rear stabilizer bar.

      HINT: 

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut (B), use a 6 mm hexagon socket wrench to hold the stud bolt.

  5. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  6. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER BAR 
    1. Remove the 4 nuts, rear stabilizer bar, 2 rear stabilizer brackets and 2 rear stabilizer bushings from the rear suspension member sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE REAR LOWER STABILIZER BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 rear lower stabilizer brackets from the rear suspension member sub-assembly.

  8. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 rear stabilizer brackets from the 2 rear stabilizer bushings.

  9. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER BUSHING 
    1. Remove the 2 rear stabilizer bushings from the rear stabilizer bar.
