Removal [12/2019 - ]: Procedure

Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

HINT: 

When removing the quarter panel wheel opening moulding, heat the vehicle body and quarter panel wheel opening moulding using a heat light.

Heating Temperature

WARNING:

• Do not touch the heat light and heated parts, touching the heat light may result in burns.
• Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

1. Apply protective tape around the quarter panel wheel opening moulding as shown in the illustration.

2. Remove the 3 clips.

3. Remove the screw.

4. While pulling the rear bumper assembly, insert a finger between the rear bumper side seal and rear bumper assembly and disengage the 3 claws as shown in the illustration.

   	Remove in this Direction

   NOTE:

   • Do not apply excessive force when pulling back the rear bumper side seal.
   • To avoid damaging the claws, do not forcibly pull the quarter panel wheel opening moulding.
5. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and quarter panel wheel opening moulding.
6. Disengage the 4 clips and separate the double-sided tape to remove the quarter panel wheel opening moulding.

7. w/ Mudguard:
   1. Remove the spring nut.
