Installation [12/2019 - ]: Procedure

HINT: 

When installing the No. 2 quarter panel seal, heat the vehicle body using a heat light.

Heating Temperature

WARNING:

• Do not touch the heat light and heated parts, touching the heat light may result in burns.
• Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

1. Clean the vehicle body surface.
   1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.
   2. Remove any double-sided tape from the vehicle body.
   3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
2. Install a new No. 2 quarter panel seal.
   1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.
   2. Remove the release paper from the No. 2 quarter panel seal.

      HINT: 

      After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

   3. Attach the double-sided tape.

      HINT: 

      Press the No. 2 quarter panel seal firmly to install it.

   4. Install the No. 2 quarter panel seal with the 3 screws.
