Removal [12/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR WINDOW FRAME UPPER MOULDING 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2023 - ] 

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR FRONT LOWER FRAME UPPER COVER 

    HINT: 

    When removing the front door front lower frame upper cover, heat the vehicle body and front door front lower frame upper cover using a heat light.

    Heating Temperature

    Item Temperature
    Front Door Front Lower Frame Upper Cover and Vehicle Body 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
    WARNING:
    • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts, touching the heat light may result in burns.
    • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

    NOTE:

    Do not heat the vehicle body and front door front lower frame upper cover excessively.

    1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and front door front lower frame upper cover.
    2. Disengage the 2 clips and separate the double-sided tape to remove the front door front lower frame upper cover.
