Removal [12/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH 

    See step  5 [12/2019 - 10/2022], or see step  5 [10/2022 - 11/2023], or see step  5 [11/2023 - ]

  2. REMOVE BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY 

    See step  7 [12/2019 - 10/2022], or see step  7 [10/2022 - 11/2023], or see step  7 [11/2023 - ]

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 POWER BACK DOOR CONTROL SWITCH 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction
    2. Disconnect the connector to remove the No. 1 power back door control switch.
